Our charities

Conquer the Summit is a joint fundraising initiative of the Mount Barker Lions and Rotary Clubs.

 

Generous sponsorship and assistance from our supporters and the District Council of Mount Barker normally means that 100% of your registration fee can be donated to Operation Flinders and other local charities that support the youth of our community.
 

In the past 10 years Conquer the Summit has raised over $145,000 for Operation Flinders, an organisation who exist to transform the lives of young people through quality remote outback adventure.  Their program is especially designed for young people with challenging backgrounds and provides them with a psychological and physical circuit breaker, intended to increase resilience to tackle the challenges of life.  The program improves self-confidence, self-esteem, ability to work in teams and ability to accept responsibility.  

 

Conquer the Summit are also proud to have provided financial donations to Mount Barker District Athletics , Mount Barker Scout Group , Mount Barker Girl Guides and the CFS.
